Become a NUFP Mentor

Mentors are an important part of the NUFP program’s success and are selected each academic year. The UC Davis NUFP Committee selects mentors based on the number of fellows and their interests. The goal is to create diverse pairs that can learn from one another throughout the year.

Qualifications

Mentors are full-time professionals with at least two years of post-master’s experience working in higher education or student affairs.

Commitment

Mentorship commitment is one academic year and includes meeting once or twice a month with their fellow, attending monthly mentor meetings and participating in several NUFP events throughout the year.

Become a Mentor

If you are interested in being a mentor, simply fill out the mentor interest form.

To nominate someone else as a mentor, fill out the mentor nomination form. Selected mentors will be notified the first week of August.
