Dining Commons

Student Housing and Dining Services operates three dining commons on campus, with one location near each residence hall area: Segundo, Tercero and Cuarto. All dining areas are open to the entire campus community.

Cuarto Dining Commons

Cuarto residents have access to the area service desk and an academic advising center in Thoreau Hall, a computer center and game area in Emerson Hall and the dining commons. Cuarto Market is located on the first floor.

Segundo Dining Commons

The Segundo Services Center houses the area service desk, the academic advising center, computer center, the Segundo Market and an assortment of study spaces. The dining commons is located in a state-of-the-art building in the southwest corner of Segundo.

Tercero Dining Commons

The Tercero Services Center houses the dining commons, Tercero Market, a game room, area service desk, academic advising center, computer center, multiple lounges and study rooms. Tercero's large lounge can be used for group activities, including large functions and community movie nights.

Restaurants

When you're out and about on campus and the hunger pains strike, stop by any of these restaurants for a meal or a quick bite to eat.

Coffee House (the CoHo)

The Coffee House rocks! If you're looking for pho or want a place to grab a bite with friends, the CoHo is the place to be. The CoHo serves sushi, pizza, pasta, made-to-order salads, bagels, breakfast burritos, nachos and an ever-changing menu of things moms and dads would make like chicken tetrazzini or quiche. Those are just a few of the menu items that the student-staffed kitchen creates six days a week.

CoHo South Café @ the Student Community Center

The CoHo South Café is home of the Chili Stack, a tasty tower of chili and cornbread. You can also pick up a pastry coffee, breakfast or lunch sandwich or a beverage.

Food Trucks @ The Silo Patio

Don't let the long line deter you! Enjoy an assortment of popular food trucks that rotate regularly. And really, the line moves quickly!

La Crepe Bistro @ The Silo

Ooh la la! Come for specialty crepes and stay for the show as you watch Chef Michel make your crepe right before your eyes. The menu includes vegetarian, meat and dessert crepes and much more.

Peet’s Coffee @ The Silo

Make an on-campus Peet’s your first stop. If you're not a coffee drinker but are looking to satisfy a sweet tooth or fill your empty stomach, Peet’s has an assortment of tasty treats.

Silo Market

The Silo Market is perfect for a quick bite when you're in a hurry, serving up express, to-go items like sandwiches, salads and fresh fruit. If you're thirsty, you can choose from an assortment of drinks.

Coffee and Snacks

Need a quick pick-me-up? Stop by one of the many snacking areas around campus that offer coffee, fruits and other food items to get you through the day.

Bio Brew @ The Sciences Labs

Located in the northwest corner of the Sciences Lab Building, BioBrew is the café of choice for that quick caffeine rush. Proudly brewing Peet’s coffee, you’ll also enjoy freshly baked pastries, bagels and fresh fruit.

Cuarto Market @ Cuarto

Cuarto Market is located on the first floor of the Cuarto Dining Commons. The market may be entered either from an exterior door on the north side of the Cuarto Dining Commons (closest to Emerson Hall) or from within the dining commons.

Peet’s Coffee @ the ARC

Kick back and relax while studying or after a hard workout at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). Peet’s Coffee offers a full assortment of hot and blended beverages, as well as a scrumptious variety of pastries and sandwiches.

From bottled beverages to gum to Gunther's ice cream, you’ll be glad you stopped to refuel. The market is a great alternative to traveling off campus for your favorite snacks and essential items. Even better, you have great flexibility in how you wish to pay.

Scrubs Cafe @ the corner of Garrod Drive and Veterinary Medicine Drive

When you're over near the veterinary medicine buildings or Health Sciences Library and your stomach growls, don't panic! Scrubs Cafe serves a variety of sandwiches, burgers and pizza along with coffee and breakfast foods.

The Swaggie

The Swaggie, located adjacent to the Carlson Health Sciences Library, is a partnership with the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA). The store sells soda, coffee, snacks, greeting cards, logo apparel, student supplies and much more.

Swirlz @ the Coffee House - Memorial Union

Join the crowed to get a cup of coffee and the scone of the day at the CoHo. Or stop by after lunch for a piece of ying-yang cake and an espresso. You can even indulge in a smoothie, milkshake or double-scoop ice cream cone. The possibilities are endless! And during finals week, the CoHo helps to fuel those early morning study sessions with half-price coffee.

Tercero Market @ Tercero

Got a craving for pretzels and sour gummi worms? Tercero Market has got you covered! This mainstay is located near Tercero and is the perfect place for a quick snack.

Your AggieCard can be used for dining on campus and off campus at partnered restaurants to give you more flexibility, variety and value.

Want to get healthy but aren’t sure how to get started? Visit Aggie Food Connection to learn how to eat well and live healthy on a student budget. You'll find resources that help you:
